He was born in 1943.
He performed his high school years in the Jesuit school of St Joseph in Lille (northern France) from 1950 to 1961.
He entered the Society in 1962.
He was ordained in 1974 and then became a teacher of philosophy in the Jesuit high school of “St Joseph de Tivoli” Bordeaux.
In 1979-1980, he spent a full year in India to perform his tertianship.
In 1988 he was appointed as one of the vice-provincials of the French Province for the southern and western part of France.
Since 1995 he has been appointed as the delegate of education, in charge of coordination and teachers training of the 14 schools looked over by the French province.
From 1997 till October 2003 he was the President of the “Jesuit committee for Secondary Education” (JECSE), gathering all the Delegates of Education for the Jesuit provinces of Europe.
He has been appointed as the assistant of the French federation of Alumni from January 1st 2003 and so participated in the world congress of Calcutta.
His hobby : cycling.
